Masterbatches Suited for Food Use

Terraloy 90000 Series masterbatches, formulated with Biostrength impact modifier from Arkema and carrier polymers consisting of Ingeo PLA from NatureWorks, are in compliance with FDA requirements for food-contact applications at loadings to 20%. Masterbatch is said to increase the toughness and reduce the brittleness of PLA, expanding its value in a wide range of packaging applications where clarity is essential.
