Box Zips Open

Zipbox, a re-sealable zip-top carton, was introduced at Pack Expo 2009 by T.H.E.M. (Technical Help in Engineering and Marketing), Marlton, NJ. Combining the best elements of a folding carton with a zippered pouch that folds down after filling, Zipbox eliminates the need for an inner liner. The rectangular fooprint offers space efficiency, and the linerless design provides source reduction benefits. Recommended uses include packaging for snack foods, cookies, cereals, frozen foods, and nonfood items such as powdered laundry detergents.
