KapStone Charleston Kraft, Charleston, SC, has created a promotional beverage carrier made from its ultra-lightweight 0.020/58# Kraftpak uncoated carton board. Converted by NEPA Carton & Carrier Co., Moosic, PA, the hypothetically branded “Red Whale Ale” six-pack carrier features detailed lithographic text and graphics printed on all sides, visually conveying Kraftpak's ability to reproduce strong, bold color and clear definition. The paperboard is available in ten standard caliper grades. Its strong fiber composition and ultra low-density design are said to deliver outstanding performance with very low package weight, while its uniform brown surface provides a clean, organic look with excellent flexo, litho, and gravure printability.
