The Box Pouch from Totani America, Green Bay, WI, is a flat-bottom flexible pouch said to reduce film use for an equivalent volume of product content. It can provide unique marketing and display opportunities, as the design offers product viewing through the side panel. Pouches are stackable and leakproof. Box pouches can be produced at speeds to 100 cycles/min on Totani's machine, which registers all five panels. They are on store shelves for dried food, pet food, and lawn and garden products.
