LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ | Datacolor introduces the 45G high-accuracy handheld spectrophotometer with integrated gloss measurement. Product is said to excel in color appearance evaluation of package prints and much more. Company says measurements made with the 45G capture the effect of base color, gloss, and texture on overall visual appearance.

The unit reportedly offers high repeatability and inter-instrument agreement, Included is company’s TOOLS desktop software, giving the 45G the performance needed to effectively control color and appearance in a complex manufacturing supply chain and producing measurement results that correlate better to visual assessment.
