Galileo-Nanotech Vacuum Coating Partnership

PRATO, ITALY – Galileo’s CEO, Pietro Profumo, presented an overview of Galileo-Nanotech, the new joint venture between Galileo Vacuum Systems and Russian Nanotechnology Corp. (a.k.a. RUSNANO) at the SVC 2010 Technical Conference in Orlando, FL. The presentation “Galileo Nanotech–a New Partnership in Vacuum Coating Technology,” reported that the joint venture has been endowed with an initial capital of Euro 43MM.

Staked by this substantial investment, Galileo Nanotech has set an ambitious growth plan that includes the construction of a new manufacturing plant in the Moscow region. The plant will be dedicated to the production of RFID tags and other thin films products based on Galileo’s technology.
