Nordmeccanica Acquires Galileo Vacuum Assets

PIACENZA, ITALY | The Nordmeccanica Group has acquired certain strategic assets of the company Galileo Vacuum Systems, Prato, Italy. This involves an exclusive license to use Galileo’s technology, brands, and patents, allowing Nordmeccanica to complete the product range by adding the new line of metallizers to the core business, consisting of coating and laminating machinery.

The operational headquarters of the new Nordmeccanica Group Company will be in Piacenza and will operate as Nordmeccanica Vacuum. The scope of the business will be the manufacturing of metallizers, reengineered in accordance to the NM Group standards, and servicing new and existing Galileo Equipment worldwide.
