CD420 UV/EB-curable monomer fits a wide range of applications, including specialty coatings for metals and plastics, inkjet and screen inks, and adhesives. This monofunctional, aliphatic monomer is said to be characterized by low viscosity and low surface tension, making it a good diluent and substrate wetting agent. Reportedly improves adhesion promotion and elongation; demonstrates excellent weathering resistance; and is an effective comonomer that can function as a performance enhancing supplement in formulations containing isobornyl acrylate (IBOA).
