Managers: How Do You Show Your Appreciation?
- Published: June 30, 2011, By Yolanda Simonsis
In these days of shrinking budgets, how do you show your appreciation to the the people who work with you?
As a middle-manager of only three but very talented people, my options are few and my budget even smaller. We’re a tight-knit crew who enjoy each other’s company, so taking advantage of local attractions at Taste of Chicago is a great (and practical) way to spend an extended lunch hour together at very little cost. As it is, I only pay for a portion of their tickets, but it’s something. They deserve so much more–but that should be something the company ought to do in a more significant manner, right?
So tell me some of the best treats your company has given you. Make me jealous.
And have a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable July 4th holiday!
