BASF to Raise Prices in U.S. and Canada

PRESS RELEASE

CHARLOTTE, NC&8212;Effective January 1, 2005, or as contracts allow, BASF will raise prices in the U.S. and Canada on all acrylic and styrene-acrylic latex products supplied to the adhesives, architechtural coatings, construction, nonwovens, and paper coatings industries by $0.05 per wet pound. Brands included in the price raise are Acronal®, Acronal® Optive, and Basonal.
