PRESS RELEASE
MOUNT OLIVE, NJ - BASF Printing Systems has appointed Anderson & Vreeland as a distributor of the company's nyloflex® photopolymer printing plates in the US and Canada.
A&V will provide sales and technical support. With BASF's products, A&V will be able to offer customers with a digital flexography workflow a broad range of flexographic plates and sleeves.
BASF nyloflex plates reportedly provide print quality in solids, line, or halftone for all flexographic print applications and are available in a range of thicknesses. According to BASF, the laser ablative and engravable digital plates and sleeves are designed for direct transfer of data from computer to plate. The technology is said to eliminate the need for film, photographic chemicals, and mounting devices.
