Kampf Adds Ion Industrial Static Control to Slitters/Rewinders

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT, USA — Ion Industrial reports Kampf GmbH & Co. will integrate Ion Industrial static control systems on its slitter/rewinder equipment in order "to optimize web-handling speeds through the use of Ion's high-performance static neutralizers."

Now offered as a standard component on Kampf's slitter/rewinders, the systems neutralize static charge on webs running at speeds to 3900 ft. per min., adds Ion.

"Just three standard Ion 8001KD-W neutralizing bars can be combined for any of the numerous slitter sizes from 148 inches to 345 inches, thus simplifying replacements and reducing the spare bar inventory," explains Ion.

"The lead time of standard components and bars is short. System wiring is simplified with the use of short, high-voltage cables (maximum 1.6 feet) connecting the bars to an IP54-rated high-voltage power supply." Ion adds that its Virtual AC Neutralizers will be installed on the Kampf Unislit machine at Kampf's exhibit at the K show (k-online.de).
