PRESS RELEASE
AUBURN, ME, USA—ENEFCO of Maine reports it has acquired Industrial Cutting Die of Georgia; as a result of the buy, ENEFCO says it has formed a new business unit called GlobalDie.
"While the cutting die industry is fragmented with many small, struggling companies, GlobalDie is growing and expanding," says ENEFCO.
Adds Mike Macoy, VP of operations, "The quality of product and service, as well as the ability to provide quick turnaround, is dependent on size, capability, and skill of personnel. This critical acquisition allows us to continue to grow and provide better service on a wider range of products."
According to ENEFCO, Scott Wherry, founder and president of Industrial Die, will serve as the business unit manager of GlobalDie.
"We are very pleased with our strategy to grow our successful business, and are happy that we are able to offer more employment in the Lewiston-Auburn area" says Peter Klein, CEO/president of ENEFCO International.
