PRESS RELEASE
KENNESAW, GA—The Speedmaster XL 105 sheetfed offset press from Heidelberg received Germany's Silver Design Award. The German Design Prize is the country's official design award and is given each year by the German Design Council on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economics and Technology. It celebrates outstanding product and communication design, and often is referred to as the "award of the awards," as products are nominated only if they have already received a national or international design award.
The Speedmaster XL 105 prints 18,000 sheets per hour on a broad spectrum of materials and on paper formats up to 29.53 x 41.34 inches. It is used by industrial print shops in the commercial and packaging sectors.
