UV Flexo Press Eliminates Press Adjustments During Changeovers

TURATE, ITALY—GIDUE SpA’s six color Combat 370 UV flexo press for labels is designed for speeds up to 150mt/min and features the Flower printing head—developed by GIDUE—to facilitate job changes. This development reportedly has eliminated the need for pressure adjustments during changeovers through a specially designed locking system. Changing jobs consists of opening the printing head and simply dropping in the new printing and anilox cylinders.

The Combat press is said to be capable of handling a wide range of substrates from paper, films, and foils to plastics. Carton production also is a possibility.
