Agfa on the Road Again for Digital Solutions Tour

RIDGEFIELD PARK, NJ, USA—Agfa says it will be out on the road once again this spring. The company is gearing up for a repeat performance of its successful Digital Solutions Road Tour, which began April last year. According to the prepress mfr., this year this mobile showcase of Agfa products and technology will start its tour in southern California, will spend the winter on the West Coast, and then head back to Texas.

Agfa says featured products on the 18-wheeler include the company's award-winning Apogee workflow software. In addition, reports Agfa, visitors to the semi-tractor trailer can learn about the manufacturer's advanced computer-to-plate (CTP) technology as well as its Sherpa inkjet digital proofing system. "This truck is just one of many ways Agfa seeks to help make our partners more productive and profitable," says Dave Shultz, Agfa's product marketing manager, CTF. "It's another way we help educate our customers about the latest technologies…."
