Hell-Artwork Alliance Means Heaven for Flexo Printers

INMAN, SC & BRISTOL, PA, USA—During the recent FFTA (Foundation of the Flexographic Technical Association) annual conference, Hell Gravure Systems and Artwork Systems confirmed their alliance to service the digital needs of the flexo market. According to the companies, the new alliance was built on the success of the existing gravure relationship; Hell's HelioFlex F2000 and Artwork Systems' Nexus have been integrated.

According to Claus Zack, president of the Hell business unit at K. Walter Service Corp., "This partnership will benefit the flexo customer greatly. The combination of both products provides the best of both worlds to the user: a high-quality, cost-efficient production workflow. As digital plates, imaging in the round, and sleeve imaging now are becoming the focus for many flexo printers to expand their service to their customers, the Nexus and HelioFlex F2000 combo provides the perfect system to have a competitive edge in those new, demanding markets."

Both companies will show their products for the flexo market during Pring 01 in Chicago (Sept. 6th–13th). Hell's booth number is 8989; Artwork Systems, booth 5127.
