Vetaphone, the inventor and pioneering manufacturer of surface treatment technology for the printing, converting, laminating, and extruding market sectors, is investing in its sales operation in the rapidly growing Mexican market.
Long-time and experienced representative in Mexico City, Zol Plastic, run by Javier Zenil and Tere Almaraz, has been joined by two regionally based companies to improve market coverage. Mecanix Machinery, based in Monterrey will now serve the north of the country, while Flexuministros in Guadalajara will be responsible for the western part of Mexico.
The Mecanix team of nine people in Monterrey is led by the female partnership of Brenda Santibañez and Olivia Medina, who bring many years of experience in industrial sales and service to the job, both with broad backgrounds of responsibility in electrical and engineering project management as well as import/export operations.
“We are really excited about the opportunity to represent Vetaphone because of its global reputation for cutting edge technology – this is just what the Mexican market needs right now,” said Santibañez and Medina.
In Guadalajara, Mario Flores, and his team of four at Flexuministros, have more than 25 years of flexo industry expertise in both narrow and wide web applications, so are a perfect fit for Vetaphone’s declared intention of growing its market share in the country.
“We sense a time of great change in the Mexican market with a genuine thirst for the latest technology – it’s a great time for us to be joining the Vetaphone international sales network,” said Flores.
“The sheer size of Mexico and its fast-growing population prompted us to engage additional sales and support facilities to grow the Vetaphone brand and build our market share,” said Ted Wolski, sales manager for North and South America, Vetaphone. “It’s already yielding rewards, with sales more than doubling as the new teams begin to engage with customers across the country. With Mexico looking to compete in production efficiency on an equal footing with the U.S., Europe and Asia, we feel confident that Vetaphone technology is now well represented in the region.”
