Gateway to Indonesian Plastics, and Printing Sectors

Jointly organized by Messe Düsseldorf Asia and its local partner, PT. Wahana Kemalaniaga Makmur (Wakeni), the biennial Indonesian International Plastics, Packaging and Printing Exhibitions will be held from September 2- 5, 2020 at Jakarta International Expo Kemayoran, Indonesia. With strong support from prominent ministries and associations, INDOPLAS, INDOPACK and INDOPRINT will provide a unique platform for global companies to increase their activities in the Indonesian market.
Modelled after the three leading global trade fairs for plastics, packaging and printing – K, interpack and drupa, organized by Messe Düsseldorf in Germany – INDOPLAS, INDOPACK and INDOPRINT will bring together leaders from these three industries including growing businesses from the 3D-Printing, corrugated packaging and bio-based plastics sectors. About 400 exhibitors from 20 countries and will network with over 20,000 trade visitors.
The three trade fairs will feature many renowned returning international exhibitors as well as first-time participants, introducing innovative multi-function equipment and high quality energy-efficient machinery. Complementing the exhibits will be live product demonstrations as well as a wide ranging conference and seminar program.
Indonesia is the world’s fourth largest country, in terms of population and is developing rapidly. Indonesia’s middle-class population alone is expected to double to 141 million people within the next five years. The plastics, printing, packaging and processing industries are projected to grow together with the rapid increase of the consumer market and eventual surge in demand for food and lifestyle goods. International Monetary Fund list Indonesia as the 16th largest economy on the global scale. The country is projected to rise to the 7th position with an estimated 135 million consumers, making Indonesia a highly lucrative investment economy .
