Gietz Reports Security Products, Marketing Agreement

GOSSAU SG, SWITZERLAND | Gietz AG signed a sales and marketing agreement with NEW MEC s.r.l., headquartered in Italy, for responsibility of worldwide sales and service commencing on May 1, 2016 for the OEM products Secur 20 and Secur 50.
Those machines are reported to be well known in the government and security printing industries for continuous stripe application using a rotary process with central drum technology. Examples of finished products include tax stamps, tickets, certificates, checks, and others. Company says this new machine series is a perfect addition to the its line of machines for the high-security industry.
At drupa 2016 the company demonstrated the Secur 20. The demonstration included transferring eight hologram continuous stripes of 0.20-in. (5-mm)-wide unregistered, metallized foils, made by Kurz, on a watermark security cotton paper.
