Rohrer Corporation Acquires CardPak

WADSWORTH, OH | Rohrer Corporation announces the acquisition of CardPak, based in Solon, OH, on July 18, 2016. The acquisition is said to increase Rohrer’s presence as a leader in the packaging industry by adding expanded printing, coating, and thermoforming capabilities.

“Under the ownership of Rick and Lisa Thomas, the CardPak team has built a world-class packaging provider focused on the needs of their customers,” says Steve Wirrig, Rohrer’s CEO. “We sincerely welcome the associates from CardPak and look forward to joining together to integrate and build a combined company that routinely exceeds the expectations of our customers.”

The Solon, OH, and Aurora, OH, facilities of CardPak will operate under the Rohrer name.

Founded in 1973, Rohrer is a supplier to blister/skin printed packaging and thermoformed packaging markets. Rohrer’s operations now consist of seven manufacturing facilities in Wadsworth, OH; Buford, GA; Huntley, IL; Lewistown, PA; Mesa AZ; Solon, OH; and Aurora, OH.
