Flexographic Technical Association Calls for Flexo Excellence Award Entries 2004

RONKONKOMA, NY, USA—If you like to show off your flexo printing, then be sure to enter the Flexographic Technical Association's 2004 Excellence in Flexography Awards competition. According to FTA, the objective of the contest is to recognize outstanding technical achievement in flexographic printing.

"People are talking about the 2004 FTA Excellence in Flexographic Awards Competition and the prestige associated with it," says FTA's entry brochure. "The level of execution seen in entries continues to improve as a result of importance placed on package design. Designers and packagers no longer view flexography as a limitation, but as an opportunity to print attractive, colorful work on a variety of substrates. This competition allows flexographers to observe first-hand the improvements in techniques and technology, showcase their finest work, and receive recognition for their efforts," adds the converting industry trade organization.
