Excelitas Adds New UV LED Curing Solutions

WALTHAM, MA | Excelitas Technologies Corporation announces OmniCure AC2 Series UV LED curing systems, with applications that include inkjet printing.

This compact addition to the AC Series of UV LED Curing solutions reportedly supplies outstanding irradiance from an LED system small enough to be included in applications where space constraints restrict access to the substrate and quality cannot be compromised. Company says this small form factor, air-cooled product provides excellent curing uniformity and allows for the adjoining of multiple systems to address any length application or working distance.

The OmniCure AC275 and OmniCure AC2110 are described as high-end, compact UV LED systems for customers who are either looking to increase throughput by automating their manufacturing process, or switching to UV LEDs for their particular applications.

Available in 75- and 110-mm lengths, the AC2 Series features custom optics said to reduce the output angle of light while providing higher irradiance and greater flexibility at various working distances. Company says the air-cooled product design allows for seamless integration into new or existing production lines, increasing throughput with minimal process interruption and ultimately decreasing costs.
