GUTACH-BLEIBACH, GERMANY | G&K TechMedia and ACIMGA, the Italian manufacturers association of machinery for the graphic, converting and paper industry, will host POP 2015, the first International Package Printing Conference during ICE Europe, March 10–12 in Munich, Germany.
Organizers say this international conference targets the entire supply chain for package printing, bringing together machine manufacturers, suppliers, package printers, and end-users. They expect 100 to 150 package printers to participate.
The event will include presentations of industry experts from well-known brand-owners Heinz and Henkel. This is followed by panel discussions on current topics in package printing with representatives of machine suppliers Uteco, Omet, and Cerutti, and representatives of the print shops Zwart (The Netherlands) and Bösmüller (Austria).
The first German-Italian package printing award, the POP Award 2015, will be presented to the best and most innovative exhibitors during the ICE Europe show.
Topics will include packaging trends and developments from across the globe, food security and migration of components of inks and varnishes, and future requirements in package printing.
