Flint Announces Heatset Blanket

PLYMOUTH, MI | Flint Group has launched the dayGraphica 4600 heatset blanket, said to address three main challenges that directly affect press uptime: gauge loss, smashes, and blanket memory that limit blanket life and performance.
The key, says Joe Byers, Global VP Technology–Transfer Media Division, was designing three new elements and combining them into one product. “Built with a re-engineered carcass design, compressible layer, and face rubber compound formulation, the dayGraphica 4600 heatset blanket significantly decreases the frequency and severity of the major blanket challenges in today’s press rooms.”
Company says the longer blanket life translates to a notable increase in press uptime for offset web printers due to fewer blanket changes.
