Nilpeter Seminar Demonstrates Expanded Gamut

SLAGELSE, DENMARK | Nilpeter reports that 100 industry professionals gathered at the company’s Technology Center in Cincinnati, OH, July 31, for an in-depth overview of the Expanded Gamut process.
After presentations from Actega, Harper Corporation, tesa tape, Flexografix, (http://www.flexografix.com/) and Esko, visitors witnessed the entire process on the Nilpeter FB-3 servo-driven flexo press.
The FB-3 is said to offer an extremely high level of automation, with total job-save capabilities and automated plate cylinder positioning, and it can recall all operating parameters of previous production runs. The primary seven colors stay in the press to build spot color and process graphics, reportedly reducing washups, makeready, and downtime.
Mark Samworth, color consultant at ESKO, says, ”Esko very much values the opportunity to partner with Nilpeter and participate in their Expanded Gamut open house. It’s a great feeling to be presenting in a ‘packed-to-capacity’ room to an audience that has the potential to realize enormous quality and economic benefits from Expanded Gamut. We particularly value a press company partnership because Equinox EG technology is only as good as the quality of your printing."
