Flint Group Adds Metallic Inks to EkoCure Line

PLYMOUTH, MN | Flint Group has expanded its portfolio of EkoCure UV LED inks with UV LED Metallics.

The inks were developed using specially selected raw materials that match the narrow and targeted wavelength area that is typical for UV LED lamp output, and they are said to provide both environmental and economical benefits, including Increased productivity and press uptime with quality assuredness; reduced energy costs; and increased manufacturing space; nearly maintenance-free UV LED lamps with no mercury bulb replacement and disposal costs.

Company says inks allow printers to run heat-sensitive materials with less heat management costs.
