Ryobi Will Offer Live Demos at CPP

CHICAGO, IL | RYOBI MHI and distributor Graphic Systems North America (GSNA) will provide live demonstrations of its five-color, eight-up RYOBI 925 press with LED-UV instant curing, along with full overviews of the six-up RYOBI 750 Series Packaging Edition press and Ryobi’s UV casting and foiling system at CPP EXPO/GRAPH EXPO 2014, September 28–October 1 in Chicago’s McCormick Place. The eight-up press to be exhibited just received a “Must See ‘Em” award.
RYOBI will also features its all-digital CIP4-JDF workflow and other key technologies.
“Package printers and other specialty printers will learn about next-generation offset print technology,” says Erin Layton, assistant show director for CPP. “They’ll see a fully automated offset press in production. This demo coupled with our live presentations will update commercial printers on the huge opportunities in the package, specialty, and industrial print marketplace.”
The RYOBI 925 LED-UV press is said to excel on all paper, film, plastic, and other synthetics, ranging from ultra-thin substrates to 24-pt board. The Ryobi-Panasonic LED-UV curing system, built into the press, dries print instantly and delivers important environmental advances, company says.
Also at the show, GSNA will spotlight the advantages of the six-up RYOBI 750 series Packaging Edition press, including six-minute makereadies, heavy-duty feeders, specialized transfer drums, inking systems, fully automatic plate changing, and highly stable delivery piling. This specially equipped press runs up to 31-pt board for folding cartons and other applications.
