MACtac Adds to INDIE Line

STOW, OH | MACtac Printing Products enhances its INDIE line of certified stocks for Indigo (http://h10088.www1.hp.com/) by expanding its product offerings to include MACtac’s patented non-ooze MP910 adhesive and the addition of redigo, complementary label stocks that have been optimized to be topcoated by the customer.

In addition to the 78-in. web width now available with INDIE, company provides the Precise Program, which offers next day shipping and allows customer to order only what is needed.

MACtac reports the INDIE Products received a three-star certification rating from the Rochester Institute of Technology for performance on the Indigo WS4050 and WS6000 presses. The test measures for runnability, or web handling and registration, ink adhesion, and blanket compatibility. The three-star rating is reserved for the best performing substrates.

The new line of redigo stocks is optimized through paper chemistry and process conditions during adhesive coating to perform best for topcoating on press, company says. The redigo products mirror the INDIE products, allowing customers to have the same product both pre-topcoated and ready to be Indigo printed or non-topcoated and ready to be topcoated.
