 PITTSBURGH, PA | Matthews Marking Products is offering a multi-technology controller and GUI platform for the future generation of its marking technologies. The Viacode print control module runs on a real-time operating system and high-speed control network, providing a scalable, single-source control of multiple printers or production lines. Paired with the new T-Series high-resolution printheads, product is said to provide a cost-effective alternative to adhesive labels and preprinted cartons.

Viacode is called the window to complete plant-level marking/coding/tracking process, allowing user to quickly and efficiently create, edit, or select messages from one location (even remotely) eliminating costly coding errors. The virtual network computing feature provides live software updates and minimizes downtime with onboard manuals/troubleshooting and remote tech support.

Prints directly onto corrugated cartons, reportedly high levels of readability, with image heights to 4 in./head and unlimited stitching possibilities.
