E-Close Packaging Is Honored for Easy Open and Close Features

ZURICH, SWITZERLAND | Amcor Flexibles reports that Amcor E-Close recently received an award from Scanstar, the competition organized each year by the Scandinavian Packaging Assn., for its latest innovation in easy-to-open and re-seal solutions for fresh applications. E-Close is now automatically eligible for the global WorldStar packaging competition.

E-Close is described as a unique product range combining extensive know-how in PSAs with state-of-the art laser micro perforation technology.

Amcor also reports that Arla Foods, a dairy market leader in Sweden, chose the Amcor E-Close lid for its sliced cheese range. It is used in cooperation with Sealpac, a global manufacturer of thermoforming equipment for modified atmosphere packaging.
