Fixed Point Web Gauge from NDC Suited for Entry-Level Use

IRWINDALE, CA | NDC Infrared Engineering’s new fixed-point 8000-F web gauging system, which is part of the TDi family, features architecture built upon intelligent measurements and controls and is said to provide a cost-effective, entry-level solution for web gauging.

Measurement options include either NDC's gamma backscatter (GBS) or the IG710S/SR710S near infrared sensors. These can be configured to suit a wide range of calendering and coating applications. Alternatively, they can be arranged in the machine direction for coat weight measurement for up to three coating stations.

Configuration can be expanded by adding sensors as needed. System can provide visibility across up to eight process lines.
