In-Mold Competition Deadline Extended

SCOTTSDALE, AZ | The In-Mold Decorating Assn. has extended the deadline to June 30th for entering its annual competition for in-mold labeled packaging and in-mold decorated durable products. The winning entries are judged on creativity in design, engineering, and innovation in the following categories:
• Best Part Design
• Best Thin Wall Packaging
• Best Injection Mold Part
• Best Blow Mold Part
• Best IMD Durable Product
• Best Label Design
• Best Product Family (common style or brand)

Winning entries will be honored at IMLCON and IMDCON 2011 on Nov. 16—17, 2011, in Phoenix AZ, and announced in Paper, Film & Foil Converter (PFFC) and Package Design Magazine.

This year’s judges will include the following:
• Clare  Goldsberry, senior editor, Modern PlasticsWorldwide
• Rob Krebs, director of market innovation, Plastics Div., American Chemistry  Council
• Yolanda Simonsis, associte publisher/editor, Paper,Film & Foil Converter (PFFC)
