Webinar on Steam Remoisturization for Paper-Based Labels

Metallizers, Coaters & Laminators and Paper, Film & Foil Converter (PFFC) are jointly sponsoring a free webinar scheduled for Tuesday, June 14, at 11 A.M. (Eastern) on the subject of Steam Remoisturization Technology for Paper-Based Label Manufacturers.

Speakers  include PFFC’s own “Coating Matters” monthly columnist Mark Miller of Coating Tech Service and Joe Martin of Qualitek.

The webinar will address how to remain competitive in today’s marketplace for paper-based label manufacturers that must be able to produce a stable, flat product. The speakers contend this requires controlling the moisture content in all layers of the final product to equilibrium. To do this, particularly in the current economy, label producers must coat efficiently, effectively, and with improved economies for margins and the marketplace. A remoisturizer, an often overlooked piece of equipment, can help maintain process stability.

Presenters will compare various remoisturization techniques and provide data to assess these technologies.
