Pharmapack's 10th Edition a Success

PARIS, FRANCE | The 10th edition of Pharmapack was held from Feb. 23–24, 2011, at the Grande Halle de la Villette in Paris, France. Building on the success of the 2010 event, over 2,600 visitors and 250 exhibitors were in attendance at Europe’s leading conference and exhibition dedicated to packaging technologies for drugs and medical devices.

Co-located with the 2nd edition of BIOMEDevice Europe, a conference dedicated to combination products, the 10th edition of Pharmapack drew a constant stream of visitors and conference delegates.

Attendees included key decision-makers from pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, and veterinary laboratories, as well as health institutions and agencies. With 53% of exhibitors and participants from 58 countries over four continents (Europe, Africa, Asia, and America), this 10th edition serves as testimonial to Pharmapack’s international renown.

This special edition of Pharmapack brought together a panel of over 35 experts from pharmaceutical laboratories and technology providers, as well as health intuitions, agencies, and establishments. They discussed key topics regarding innovation in packaging and drug delivery systems, including future trends for pharmaceutical packaging in 2020, regulatory changes in a global context, innovations in parenteral delivery, and nasal and pulmonary delivery systems.
