NP&PA Reports Monthly Production Increase of 5.5%

WASHINGTON, DC | According to the American Forest & Paper Assn.'s January 2011 U.S. Paperboard Report released February 22, total boxboard production increased by 8.3% compared to January 2010, and it increased 5.5% from last month.
Additional key findings in this report:
•• Unbleached Kraft Folding production is flat compared to January 2010.
•• Solid Bleached Folding up over same month last year.
•• Recycled Folding production increased over last month.
• Inventory of Solid Bleached Kraft Paperboard increased over December 2010.
