Xeikon Expands Label Production Capabilities with 'One-Pass' Opaque White

LIER, BELGIUM | Xeikon, a leader in digital color printing innovation, has announced that its latest label presses offer converters a much higher productivity with its “one-pass” opaque white toner to create the “no label or label-less look” on transparent labels.  

Transparent—or clear film—self-adhesive labels have emerged as a highly desirable option for companies looking to enhance their brand image and seeking an alternative to glue-attached paper labels.

All the Xeikon label presses come equipped with five color stations: four for the standard process colors (CMYK) and the fifth station for gamut expansion or spot colors, including its “one-pass” opaque white toner.
