RFID How-To Masterclass

More than half of the available places have been booked for the RFID "how-to" masterclass taking place at Labelexpo Americas 2006. It will take place at 1 p.m. on Thursday, September 14, 2006.

Presented by label guru Mike Fairley (along with a panel of experts) the masterclass will provide converters with a hands-on, practical understanding of the technology of smart labels/RFID—chips, antennas, straps, adhesives, conductive inks, inlays, tags, HF, UHF, frequencies, inlay integration, performance and application. Delegates will be taught how smart labels are constructed, including inline and off-line manufacture, the printing of antennas with conductive inks, methods of attaching straps and inlays, how and where to test for faulty inlays and controlling the finished product.
