Omet Hosts Open House

PRESS RELEASE

WEST HARTFORD, CT—Omet will hold an Open House at Innovative Folding Carton, South Plainfield, NJ, April 10-11, 2006. The event will feature workshops, several keynotes speakers, and an on-press demonstration.

The morning workshops will consist of seminars by industry experts on prepress, servo technologies, print sleeves, rotary diecutting, opaltone print pricess, selling flexo in an offset world, and gearless/shaftless sleeve press technology. Two keynote speakers will highlight the morning workshop: Jonathan Agger of Karstedt Assoc. will speak on "Folding Carton Industry Trends" and Page Crouch, professor emeritus at Clemson University, will speak on "New Technolgy—New Efficiencies."

The afternoon session will begin with a live demonstration on Innovative Folding Carton's new Omet Varyflex presss. The press is an eight-color UV 26-inch gearless sleeve press.
