Time-Temp Indicator Monitors Package Freshness

BASLE, SWITZERLAND— Ciba Specialty Chemicals and FreshPoint present a new time-temperature indicator system that will show accumulated chill-chain history of perishables. OnVu time-temperature indicators allow producers, retailers, and consumers to check at a glance whether perishable products have been correctly supplied and stored. The indicators are available as labels or as inks for printing on packaging. The indicators helps strengthen brand reputation, enhance consumer convenience and confidence, and optimize shelf life.

The OnVu system will be on display at the Anuga FoodTec fair in Cologne from April 4-7, 2006.
