Mecmesin Sells to U.S.

WEST SUSSEX, UNITED KINGDOM—Mecmesin Limited, a European supplier of testing solutions, now markets its line of force and torque measurement products directly in the U.S. and Canada. Previously, the firm sold through its U.S. subsidiary by the same name from 1988 to 1998, then under the Quantrol brand for scale manufacturer Weigh-Tronix until December 1, 2005. The two companies have parted ways and Mecmesin now is selling through a new distributor network.

New entries into the U.S. market include Mecmesin's MultiTest-x range of integral console-controlled test systems, a newly designed set of digital force gauges, and higher capacity twin column test frames.
