Preco Opens New Facility

SOMERSET, WI—Preco has opened Preco-Miwa Laser Industries, a contract manufacturing facility located in Tianjin, China. Preco provides laser systems, diecutting systems, process development, and laser contract services for the automotive, aerospace, electronic, packaging and medical industries.

"The establishment of contract manufacturing services in China a natural extension of our U.S. operations, as our domestic and international clients expand their own manufacturing prescence in China," says Bob Diehl, president and CEO of Preco. "In addition, as the requirements for quality and precision in new products increases in China, there is a great demand for laser processing services for converting, welding and heat-treating."
