Klockner Expands Asia/Pacific Rim Activities

PRESS RELEASE

GORDONSVILLE, VA—The Klöckner Pentaplast Group will open three new sales offices supporting customers in the Asia/Pacific Rim in early 2006. It will open sales offices in Gurgaon, India, and Melbourne, Austrailia, in January and February 2006, respectively. Also, it will open a representative office in Shanghai, China, in January 2006.

Klöckner also is adding 11,800 sq.-ft. of PVC calandering capacity to its Rayong, Thailand, manufacturing facility. The additional 8,000 tons of PVC capacity is targeted to com on-line by mid 2006 and will service pharmaceutical, food, and static control applications. The expansion will add 19 employees to the current 134-person site.
