FVTC Updates Narrow Web Technology

PRESS RELEASE

APPLETON, WI—Fox Valley Technical College has updated its narrow web pressroom by replacing its seven-inch Comco Cadet with a six-color, seven-inch Mark Andy 2200. According to FVTC instructor Jim Reinke, "This new press allows our Packaging and Label Printing program to stay current for students, helping them advance their technical and educational experiences."

A number of companies have donated assistance to the college with the installation of the new press. Rotometrics Group supplied all of the tooling; Praxair and Harper Corp. supplied anilox inventories; and Akzo Nobel continues to supply the college's water-based and UV inks and coatings. INX Intl., Flint Ink, and Sun Chemical also support FVTC's flexo programs.
