STUTTGART, GERMANY—P, the Intl. Trade Fair for Process-Oriented Packaging Production was held June 15-18, 2005, and attracted 55 exhibitiors from Europe and the U.S., as well as 1,138 vistitors. Thirty-five percent of exhbitors and 20% of visitors came from abroad. The objective of Messe Stuttgart, the show's organizers, is to establish the topic of "packaging production" in the long term as a forum and ideas exchange for new lines of business on the growth market for packaging and packaging printing.

According to a survey conducted by Messe Stuttgart: 26% of visitors came from the sector producing packaging and auxiliary packaging means, 23% were printers from all packaging printing segments, and 20% were packaging designers and consultants. Seventy-four percent of exhibitors welcomed P as the new trade fair marketplace for the industry.
