SERCOS Organizations Display Servo Interoperability Demo

LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL— The SERCOS interface trade associations demonstrated interoperability of controls and servo drives with their Pack Profile interoperability demo during Pack Expo 2004 and SPS/IPC/Drives show. The demo is oriented towards the packaging industry, but also is of interest in many other industries, including converting.

The demo showed how SERCOS controllers and servo drives from five different automation technology vendors (Automation Intelligence, Beckhoff, Bosch Rexroth, Danaher, and Rockwell Automation) can be mixed and matched on machines or packaging lines.
