Innovative Packaging Sets Two Production Records

MILWAUKEE, WI—Innovative Packaging Corp.’s (IPC) second shift team set a new production record on its 98-in. BHS corrugator, averaging 54,069 lineal ft. per hr. (an average of 901 ft. per min.). The new record of 432,600 lineal ft. and 3,452 sq. ft. included 124 slitter changes and 14 paper changes during the eight-hour shift.

The company’s third production team also set a time record, going over six consecutive shifts (48 hrs. and 10 min.) with zero downtime. During these shifts the crew produced 14,341 MSF of board while conducting 1,006 slitter changes, 136 paper changes, and 29 flute changes.
