Smurfit-Stone Launches New Innovation Center

CHICAGO, IL—Smurfit-Stone Container Corp. has announced the opening of its new Innovation Center at the company’s Carol Stream, IL, facility. The center also displays award-winning packaging designs developed by Smurfit-Stone and its Creative Resource Group (CRG).

"Our Innovation Center serves as a creative venue for brainstorming and collaborating with our customers on innovative packaging ideas, as well as an internal resource center for our new product innovation champions, business development, and research and development teams," says Tony Hancock, Smurfit-Stone’s director of packaging innovation.
