Interpack 2005 is Larger Than Ever

DÜSSELDORF, GERMANY—interpack 2005, the 17th Intl. Trade Fair for Packaging Machinery, Packaging and Confectionery Machinery, has already booked over 2,200 exhibitors from 56 countries, reserving 1.7 million sq. ft. of net exhibit space in 18 halls. Messe Dusseldorf, the show’s organizers, reports the show has never before been so big.
To date, 65% of exhibitors are from countries other than Germany. Leading foreign exhibitor nations are Italy, Great Britain, France, and the Netherlands. Messe Düsseldorf expects 170,000 visitors to attend.
Hall layout will be done according to exhibit categories:
- Halls 4-6, 7a, 8, 11-17 - suppliers of packaging machinery
- Halls 7, 9-11 - packaging materials manufacturers
- Halls 1-3, parts of 4 - confectionery machinery
