AIMCAL & FPA Collaborate on Environmental & Safety Summit

LINTHICUM, MD & FORT MILL, SC, USA - The Flexible Packaging Association (FPA) and the Association of Industrial Metallizers, Coaters & Laminators (AIMCAL) report they will host a joint FPA/AIMCAL Environmental Safety Conference in early 2005.

According to the trade groups, committees from both AIMCAL and FPA are developing the conference agenda, "The collaborative effort builds on the annual environmental, safety, and health conferences organized separately [in years past] by FPA and AIMCAL."

Adds AIMCAL executive director Craig Sheppard, "We're excited about the opportunity to work together to deliver value for attendees from both groups."

AIMCAL and FPA say the schedule for the joint Environmental Summit & Safety Conference is divided into two sections. Tuesday, January 18, 2005, will be devoted to safety topics. Wednesday afternoon (January 19) through Friday (January 21) will concentrate on environmental issues. The morning hours of Wednesday, January 19, 2005, are reserved for committee meetings.
